Penrose Apple Day will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024. This is a parade (at 10:30 am) and all day street fair in "downtown" Penrose on Broadway, with food and other vendors, free apple pie at noon. This event dates to 1935 when the school in Penrose hosted a softball tournament and residents baked apple pie for all the participants.
